Normally I've got no issues with them at all. But FourSquare has some serious issues.

So, may I ask, "learn to program" in what sense?

Some people are looking for an exposure, and some people seek "production quality" code (profit or non). There are different paths to each.

Just had an interesting exchange <a href="http://mostrom.eu/blog/2012/01/02/should-everybody-learn-to-program" rel="nofollow">here</a> about whether "everybody" should really code, or if there really is "an app for that."

Anyway, as an old time programmer (30 years), with a learn to program page, I'd be interested in your goals and plans. I think there are quite different road maps appropriate to various goals.

Will definitely from other apps. Probably won't put too much work in progress stuff here, but we'll see what the team's policies are on that kind of thing.

I think it largely depends on the utility of the app. If it's designed to be skimmed, then dense is fine — our retina displays work just fine. Any time there's buttons or navigation though, the size needs to bump up. Path has a small button in the lower left that works because you instantiate it with a swiping motion. The smiley face buttons always trip me up though.

Haven't had a chance to spend that much time with it. I suspect chair and desk height are critical.

I find that mine is uncomfortable for extended periods of use (I think it's because of the reverse angle) but I love using it for scrolling and gestures. I've settled on using my wonderful microsoft laser mouse for most things but scrolling and panning and other gestures with the trackpad.
